camburgs on a lowered truck

camburgs on a lowered truck

I'm interested in getting a set of camburg upper control arms for my truck lowered 4-6" what you guys think?

dont the camburgs have the balljoints angled different for a lifted-type set up?

if so i would think that would cause a worse angle on the ball joint than stock.

noone makes lowered specific control arms for 04-08s?

I always thought they are a direct replacement for a stock control arm the only difference is the uniball?? Ill have to call them unless someone else can chime in

i may be wrong. :o if they do have all the same angles as stock then id definitely go for it.

uniball > reg balljoint anyday! lol

I don't see why they wouldn't work as long as you have a wheel with 5'' of backspacing

yea i thought the ball perch was at an angle to be in normal operating range on a lifted truck

If they work, I really don't see the benefit of having them on your lowered truck except for being able to tell people you have them on your lowered truck.

true a lowered truck doesnt have the suspension travel of a lifted truck that, and therefore wouldn't benefit from having a Uniball that allows constant travel and movement

If the lowered truck is on air, it's a different story.
