Normal - you hit the no/low load over-rev limit - (vehicle speed versus rpm mismatch over time) and pooped into failsafe/limp-home mode. Hence the "Hey, ya Toolbox .." icon on the dash.

Clears on next startup - hopefully.

Don't Do that, okay?

Why would you want to fix it - it's an idiot-proofing safety feature.

Short bursts are okay - it's when the event is prolonged and/or extreme ( in yer case across shift points) that the PCM stops the fun. I can trigger it at will playing in the snow.

You would have to ask a tuner this question.

I'd leave it alone - it's there for a reason.

Oh you're burning plenty of fuel, along with tires and other things. You live up to your name.

Lets see the car started to accelerate out of control? Sounds like you were driving a Toyota. Remove the floor mats, hand in your man card, and move on.
