Talking Pics of my truck! New wax and HIDs

so I've been a member of this forum for a long time, I don't post much at all but I browse EVERYTHING in my free time. I've learned alot here, every mod I've done to my truck, I've come here for guidance and research. So I just wanna say thanks to you all for all the informative information, pictures, and how-tos. Time to return the favor!

I just finished waxing my truck and I thought I'd throw out a product recommendation for everyone who has a black truck. I've used many types of waxes and polishes ranging from straight turtle wax to zaino. Recently I picked this up

Turtle Wax Black Box
http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=2,1,4,28

This is a canuba wax intended for use on black cars. Usually I prefer polish over wax but with the truck taking a beating with rain and dirt from playing I've come to believe canuba wax is the way to go for the supperior protection. Excuse the quality of the pics, I was using an iPhone camera. Throwing a pic of the newly installed HIDs as well, if anyone is curious they are Xenonlink 35w 6000k bi-xenon heads, and 35w 6000k fogs. They appear bluer in the pic than they actually are. I highly recommend Xenonlink's HIDs as well. Anyway enough talking here are the pics!

It looks good but a little friendly advice. If you put a polish over a wax than you're just removing the wax. A polish is done as paint correction, a glaze can be applied but is optional, and than your sealant and/or wax.

Hes not saying that he puts polish over wax, hes saying he prefers to use a polish rather than using a wax, but since his truck is getting used in a more aggressive manner he feels that alittle added paint protection is in order. Hence the switch to a CARNAUBA WAX.

I didn't read it like that. The OP wrote:

A carnuba wax isn't more durable than a sealant or synthetic wax either.

Good looking truck!

Just a word of advice, synthetic wax will provide more protection and last longer than a carnuba wax.

Thanks for the compliments.

And I meant what ride 002000 said... I prefer using polish instead of using wax. Not that I put polish on top of wax. I realize polishes are durable too. It was my belief that polishes like zaino are strong but do not act as a filler and do not hold up well when exposed to heat. Maybe I'm wrong I dunno. The point is the Turtle Black Box wax works very well by itself, without having to use aditional products and steps to prep, all im sayin is that it works and just showing how well.

Im aware of what he wrote. But what if I said I prefer red over black, does that mean red on top of black? No...or I prefer ford over chevy, does that mean a ford on top of a chevy? No.
