Ford is using the Porsche marketing plan. Remove content, mark it as a special edition, and raise the price. ie Boxter Spyder

That is a Canadian price. Trucks (all vehicles really) cost a lot more up here. I bought an 06 lariat screw for $25k in Oct and felt like I got a decent deal. I could have had a Mark LT for the same money in the US.

^^^^True, But and XLT is still only about $ 17-20k now. I paid 28 for my 05 lariat 3 years ago.

That actually sounds about right for my area too. My 05 Lariat with 43k was only $20k
