Driverside Door Speaker Won't Work ?

Hey Guys,

I was listening to my iPOD today, and I noticed that the front sounded passenger side heavy so I moved to speakers to the driverside on the HU, and got nothing out of the front driver speaker? So do I need to take off the door panel and check the connection or can I just pop something off and check the connection on the speaker ?

Thanks Guys, also the top of my door panel (right by the window) is starting to Fade, I tinted the windows a couple of months ago so I don't think it'll do it any more but what would be a good kind of paint to use for the panel?

Just remove your speaker cover do not remove the entire panel.
The cover comes off very easy. Just get a small flat head and pop it out there are a
series of clips that are part of the cover. Just go slow and work your way around the cover. Once removed you will have direct access to you speaker, and you can check the connection easily.

Good Luck!

If you wouldn't crank the volume up all the time you wouldn't have that problem

Yeah man gonna be deaf real early , technology is advancing though so

I just checked it and as soon as I popped off the cover and checked it out, I turned on the radio and it worked

Well learned how to take off the speaker cover now

sometimes water can drip down into the door and into the speaker harness. this happened on my passenger side. took the speakers out, and blew into the harness and plugged it back in, worked like a charm.

i wouldnt be surprised if you got a little water in there and it just dried out or whatever.
