So I have the darn flu so i'm trying to diagnose my truck problem HELP
so i have the flu this week i think i caught it when i was working on my truck on saturday and i feel like ****.....anyway here is my problem i went to install my brand new cb radio i got and i wanted to do what impact9 did in his truck and install it in the dash underneath the radio and something went wrong with my radio wires and something happened and i blew my radio fuse so i replaced it so here is the big PROBLEM none of my dash lights or my radio works and i think all my fuses are fine. now this is stange anyone who has the 0408 f150 they know that when you have your fogs lights on you can only have them on with the regular lights and if you turn your brights on the fog lights go off well now my truck wil not have the fog lights come on with the regular lights they NOW come on with the brights i'am so confused about has this happened to anyone......ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY NICE THANKS GUYS
Double check all fuses with a tester. I dont know off the top of my head but look up the power wire for the fogs and see if you spliced into it or a wire to the relay. and lastly, please promptly remove the truck nutz from the rear end.
Where did you get the power and ground for the CB from? I'm thinking the power may be looping through the ground causing problems. You'd be best to grab power and ground direct off the battery. CB's are very sensitive to electrical interference. They also cause plenty of interference.

the ground is running to the nearest bolt and the power is linked right to the fuse box i'm gonna check all the fused today with a test light also for the test light all i have to do is link the aligator clip to any ground right an then i go forth with with the tip to chevk the fuses? RIGHT? i never have used a test light b4 and i just bought one
