Wow what a difference!!!

Just replaced my wonderfully craptastic Pirelli Scorpions with a new set of Cooper Tire Discoverer H/Ts. I had the 275/55R20s on the stock 20x8.5 rims. I went a tad wider with 305/50R20s. These things are super quiet. Gotta be the quietest tire I've ever had. The ride extremely smooth and do great in the rain also. If anyone is looking for a good 2wd street tire, I highly recommend these tires. And this is coming from someone who swore by Kumho tires.

Post some pictures -- I'm in the market for some 305/50/20's for my new Roush rims!

30mm = "a tad wider."

Only with a truck! Still easily inside the wheel openings?

"Pirelli Scorpion" sounds so good. Anything they were better at?

My understanding on them is that the series of these tires that came on the trucks really were not up to par with other comparable tires. I think many had issues wit ride quality, flat spotting ect. I believe I have read other models were much better than the stock Scorpions.

Scorpions are crap

I just replaced my Pirelli Scorpions with some 275/60/20 Cooper Zeon's. Tremendous difference. My Scorpions flat spotted badly and one was out of round. Vibrations were terrible. With the Coopers it's like butter.

Not the best pics to show off these new tires but they did great in the 6" of snow and 1/2" of ice we got over the weekend here in middle TN.

That's pretty good. I might give them a try next time I get tires. Thanks!

Yeah I use you to have Pirellis, even with the back of my truck being weighed down the tires had no traction and peeled out easily when I barely hit the gas. Those tires forced me to run 4wd in even in the rain. Ever since I've changed them I have never had to use 4wd except under extreme conditions. I'm currently running the Goodyear Eagles LS-2, not the tire I wanted but what I could afford at the time.
