Oh the power of bargaining...

My recent wheel/tire purchase concreted the fact that it is definitely worth it to wait and search around for good deals/used parts...

I have probably saved thousands by being a cheapass.....I will get pics up of the new rims/tires tonight...but it looks amazing

First off...

-20" chrome Gear Alloy Recoils on 305/55 Nitto TG's
-Rims and tires had only 4,000 miles on them, still had nipples on tires

$2400 new? no. $1100...craigslist

-2.5" Autospring Leveling kit: $70 for kit, $50 for install (shopped around and taunted shops with other shops prices)

-Perf. Acc. 3" body lift: $700 installed (shopped around and jokingly taunted shops with other shops prices )

-22" Magnaflow muffler: caught it 20% off at stylin' trucks.com

-5" RBP Tip: got it 15% off, free shipping...Autoanything.com

-Piping/welding/Exhaust install: 12 pack of Heineken and 50 bucks...Best muffler shop around (who's employees love heineken )

-Recon 60" LED Tailgate Bar: 40% off Recon website price..new...Ebay

-Smoked Tails/3rd brake light: just had to buy the tint...rvinyl.com (Great product)

-5% all around window tint/eyebrow: $100 + 4 pack of red bull

-Custom F250 fender vents: $30...ebay

-Superchips Flashpaq: Got as a trade for installing wheel adapters/tail light tint on an 09 f150 (had to grind down studs and all that) ((Also got orlando magic tickets in the deal too ))

-Power-Aid TB Spacer: used, $30 shipped.....f150online.com

-Black Housing headlights: $100.....ebay.....(sold my stockers for $80...ebay)

-Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD: $300 installed + a new Black n Decker Angle Grinder ($20, used to grind wheel studs stated above)....my buddy's car audio shop

-Billet Door handles: $10 shipped (for 4)......f150online.com

-Infinity Basslink: $75 installed........craigslist...guy selling it was an installer in Orlando....went to his house and put it in for freeeee

-FX2 Grille: Coming soon...as a trade for tinting tail lights

Just figured i'd share this info for the f150 modders that have other things that require funding besides their trucks!!

Hope this helps some guys that were planning on getting raped by MSRP's
