looks like I am going with 4.56s, the auction end in 5hrs. So if i happen to win that is what I am going for. I couldnt pass up the price.

4.88s might be too much for me and my highway driving. I still cant decide on that. Otherwise I think 4.88s would be perfect.

Either way I think I will have them installed in the next month or so.

Another thing to consider is the published outside diameter of the tire is going to be less in the real world. If you figure an 1" less, you'll be a lot closer to reality. The tire radius under a load will be different when not loaded and this the measurement you need to rely on when calculating your tire diameter for speedometer inputs for the PCM.

I'd recommend the 4.88s.. I'm running 4.56s and don't see it as very aggressive. I mean it's a good combo but if you do a lot of towing, I'd be inclined to say get the 4.88s based solely on that.

I found a set of 4.56s for a good price. I couldnt justify the additional 300 for 4.88s.

Not to mention I am trying to get my other project paid for.

Put in the 4.56s this weekend and its great. I need to hook up the trailer but just normal driving it is nice.

mpg at 70-75ish is around 14 mpg and city I am not really sure yet. I did put 700 miles on them already and everything seems to be good. It will bark the tires on dry pavement in the 1-2 shift. lol
