I got a question for one of you experts out there. I just got a big sky overhead gun mount for my 2004 supercrew. My question: is there any steel beems in the roof around the doors? What I have is a long pole basically that has to be mounted on the roof in the back seat that extends from window to window just scared to drill into the head liner and not hit anything but foam. I looked at getting one of those but I have the rail system in my truck and I dont think it will fit.

try to find a junkyard in your area that has a truck like yours, You can pull down the headliner in that one to see what you need.

 

Do you have those little plastic hooks in the back where people hang their clothes from? Maybe there's some support in that area? Either way, I'd do what Smokey said and go to a junkyard to see.
