Not everyone that has tinted windows is "concealing narcotics etc."

I would have a lot more respect for you if you would have just come out and said "you know, I just like tinted windows and I hope I don't get busted for them" instead of your above the law comments.
Most states have laws that allow LE to disregard motor vehicle laws in the performance of their official duties. The theory being you can't break the law to enforce it. The degree of tint is a motor vehicle law and if they, the police, can articulate why, in the performance of their duties, they need it then they can have it.

It is what it is...don't be hatin' on the po-po.
