I am looking at a 2004 F150 Supercrew 5.4 4x4. It has 84000 miles and they want 13,900. I am going to test drive it tomorrow. Just looking for some opinions. This is probably a dumb question, but is the 2004 5.4 the same as a 2007 5.4? My father in law has an 07 and he is getting pretty good gas mileage. I was just hoping I would get about the same.

 

It's the same engine.....

 

The 07-08 were just about perfected.....04-05's have issues with injectors & cam pazers!....06 is a crap shoot!
