Think this is a good buy?

This is the post:
2006 One of a kind F-150. 8" Lift with a Rize lift kit. Supercharged by Roush. 5.4 L engine. dual Exaust.Sunroof with power everything. Fully upgraded with custom Supercharged seats from ford. 20 " Chrome Jesse James Wheels. Fender Flares from ford. Serious Inquires only. 42,000 miles 25k
I have seen pics and talked to him. He had a minor fender bender and had to replace the front bumper. It has mud graps but they need to be replaced.
What do you think?

What body style is it? Is it a Roush package or just their charger?

What's the body type, what's its repair/service history, how many miles on the SC, is the SC Roush installed and what's left on the warranty, how many miles on the lift/tire/wheel package and what's their condition and/or warranty, what OEM additions, how many owners.... these are some questions I would pose before forking out that kind of money.

Where's the listing?

Pass. For all you know, the tranny is at it's end, especially with an 8 inch lift and a Roush charger.

25k seems low but hey you never know it may check out. Get him down to low 20's and it maybe worth your while.

Id be leery of a supercharged 4x4, 8" lift

tranny and rear end may have problems....or major steering problems if not upgraded properly.

too much money and no real history of the truck

lifted trucks and blown trucks never get a look from me when I buy...especially as I know how I act when I have them myself.

you can supercharge a F-150 for $2,300...and lift it 6" for $1,200

buy a nice $15-17,000 newer truck...install the goodies and enjoy a truck you know more of the history about

Roush Overstock on eBay. I bought one from them back in October of 2008 for my 2006 FX4. Paid $2,300 for it. Gave me +112 HP/TQ. Talk about a real blast to drive.

The have them up periodically. Here is the +145 HP/TQ blower for $4,200

and that seller is actually Roush. Not some reseller

I would never buy a used lifted truck, just cause of the fact you could be driving around and people would say "Oh that's john's old truck". Plus even though its a 1 owner, how do you know that one owner didn't beat the **** out of it. I lucked out when I bought my truck it was a 1 owner but the owner was a older guy. Plus you cant make it your own.
