Truck looks awesome! Why did you buy a 2wd living in the north? Does it slide around much in the snow?

I was thinking the same thing. Growing up in PA, our vehicles would actually get this stuff called "rust" on them. I can't imagine dealing with that any more.

Ever drive a mustang on the ice? Yeah our trucks in the snow is basically like that. At times fun but when people around you are having the same amount of fun you are, you tend to get nervous. That would be one of the many reasons why mine is put up for the winter. And you said the forsaken "R" word... Plus I'm putting too much money into it to have it, ya know the "R" word...

OK! Sorry I was away. Thanks for all the compliments. The rims are Sport Muscle Clutch 6 22x9 wrapped in Goodyear Fortera SL 275/45/22. Traction is unbelievable in the snow and they are a GREAT road tire. The grill is a stock FX2 from ford. I bought a 2wd because I rarely used 4wd in my previous truck and liked the money savings for my mods. I never offroad so it was a no brainer to me. I live south west of chicago and we recently had 8 inch of snow dropped on us, and the truck got around just fine. I commute 70 miles one way every day and have yet to be stuck! She just rolled over 70,000 miles today as well.

Looks good! Do you carry any weight over the rear axle? I've found that really helps in the snow.

Yes it does.

PS: Never understood why people mask their license plates when posting pictures.

I don't care any weight in there other than my tools. I don't know why I masked my license plate... it just made sense at the time lol.
