new tires soon which ones?

alright heres the deal i have Toyo M/Ts on it right now like them but they are really starting to dry rot pretty bad in the tread areaand ive only really got 28k on em and they less than 3yrs old and Toyo basically said, "Oh well you are gonna have to eat it." I am nver buying another toyo tire again in my life. That being said, what is a decent mud tire that is comparable to the toyo m/t in mileage and road noise? Should i go with a more aggresive A/T? WHat do you guys think about the Nitto trail grappler? Please give input on any other tire not mentioned here.

I second that^^^

Not anything other than a great all terrain tire though. I have had them in mud, and they were flawless, but I'm not in it every weekend. 10000miles on mine, and still look brand new. Cheap too!

I like the Nitto trail my dad has 35's on his f-250 they aren't to noise on the road and are great of road. They should last a while. He has had them for about a year and they look like he just got them. I also like the Bfg km2's those aren't noise and last a long time. At's i like the nitto trail or the bfg ko's.

Cooper Discoverer STT's look identical to the toyos. I had the ST's on my 2002 Dodge and they were great tires. Can only assume the STT's are better. And the Nitto trail grapplers, like mentioned above, have been getting good reviews.

Doesn't Toyo make Nitto's? I mean if your point is to deprive Toyo of revenues, you won't be doing it by buying Nitto's. That said, is it Toyo or the dealer that's telling you to eat it? You might want to read their warranty. It says it will not cover "Claims for weather/ozone cracking after 5 years from the date of manufacture." That to me implies that you should be covered, unless your dealer sold you old new tires. It happens.

I have 20k on my KM2 muds and they have barely worn (rotate every 3k). I'll get 40-50k with ease.

Goodyear has a new tire out called MTR W/ Kevlar. All i know about it is that it has some good reviews. You could try them out. They look like they have a good tread pattern and a good sidewall
