2WD Lift kits not so plentiful??

I realize the lift kit is primarily meant to enhance the off-road experience. And that being said, the 4X4 is most lifted and talked about. However, there are those of us who have the 2WD and would like to provide that "lift" as well if nothing else, as a street queen. Problem is, I can't seem to find a whole lot of info and discussion (and photos) for 2WD F150's up on the various lift kits available.
As you've already guessed... yes, I own an '07 F150 super crew and would like to put it on a lift. 3" body, 3" leveling, add-a-leaf, blocks, 6" suspension lift... Whatever, whichever... just not sure what I can, or the track record on any of them.
So all you 2WD F150 owners who have done lifts to your trucks... please do chime in. I would love to hear your 2 cents in on this subject... and even more so, pics of your truck that show that awesome result.
Many thanks F150ers!

Welcome to the site . Here you go . 6" fabtech is what I went with + 2" AS.
If you do a Leveling kit go with 2.5" .

Thanks for the input chazf150, but none of your pics are showing up for me. Can you try and post them again?
By the way, how long have you had the lift, and what has been your experience with it?... MPG change, ware, power reduction... etc.
Thanks!!

Scratch that chazF150... I was able to get to your old gallery link. Looks awesome. For me, I would want to rear end at lease level with the front though. What would I need to make that happen?
Would still like to know your experience with the lift too.
Thanks man!

Feb. it`ll be 3yrs on the lift. It`s been about 1.5 yrs since replacing upper and lower jnts. Also replace steering rack and links. For me, this is normal wear and tear . I do a lot of towing and hauling. So it`s be holding up pretty good.

As far as power and mileage . Depends on the lift , tires , & wheels. With my set up I felt it on both. Re-gearing or some kind tuner can help.

What type of lift do you want ?

Same here bro I just bought a 09 Screw XLT and for the most part I like the way it sits when driving it but i can tell when another truck pulls up to me that has 4x4. I would like to raise mine 2.5 or so atleast level it out so i could possibly put bigger tires on it maybe 33's love to see more pics eff150 is right about us 2 wheelers being left out of the game just because we dont need the front 2 wheels.

Funny story but I took my dads 97 dodge 4x2 hunting with a bunch of 4x4 friends who was there to pull me out and not once did i need there help i threw a few sandbags in the back and away i went..Ok..OK..I do perfer 4x4 but im in san antonio and i havent seen a hill or a dirt road i could reallly get stuck on. So I am mainly on the street but I have always loved the truck look when it's slightly jacked up 4x2 or 4x4

Yeah... no doubt, the 4X4 is a hot truck to have. And mud is a thing that makes you smile. But lets face it man... 4x4, or 4x2... its mostly about what we wanna look like on the road.

Chazf150... your truck looks really good on that 6" lift. You asked what type of lift I want...
I think I am settling for the Pro Comp Stage 1 6".
Thanks for your pics man.

Wow coulda sworn I posted here before, guess it didn't go through. But anyway!

I have the 6" fabtech and steering stabilizers on my truck and love it. Rides just as it did stock, or better. There is less power but nothing that bothers me too much. MPG got obliterated I now get around 10mpg city and 13 or 14 highway. I love my lift, had it for about 9 months now. The Fabtech did leave me sitting about 1.5" low in the rear. However, a 5" block or AAL would get rid of that.

VERY VERY nice Barrett Did the steering stabilizers come with the lift, or are those components different from the kit? If they are, where'd ya get em? Is this what helps keep stock steering? And, do you rub at all?
Thanks man

Thanks man, and they are Fabtech steering stabilizers and I think it was $150 more to have them put on at the same time as the lift. It helps the truck control the bigger tires, I can tell a significant difference in steering when I compare my truck before the lift and after. I had 32" Toyo a/t's before my lift and the steering wheel would shake something terrible as I went up a hill. Now it does not move at all and without the steering stabilizers I would believe it would shake more thanks to the larger tires. I do rub, Toyo M/ts are rather aggressive and I think that is why I rub like I do. when I hit bumps the tire hits the lower valence I believe. No major rubbing.

Not sure how wide my wheels are, I do know there is only one size 18" rockstar so if you search for it whatever you find is going to be the width.
