FINALLY got me the F150 of my dreams!

Well after MUCH searching and getting shot down by EVERY dealer i talked to, i finally found the truck of my dreams..

its a 2005 F150 Crew Cab FX4.. this thing is pretty much FULLY loaded minus leather which i didnt want anyways.. Sun roof, Linex bed liner, Flowmaster exhaust only 58K miles( just hit that) and its a 1 owner, and he took AMAZING care of this truck.. Completely dealer maintained with records and there is NO rust on the truck itself..

I was expecting a little rust on the frame since it is an Iowa truck and the salt and all but nope, frame looks BRAND NEW.. the only rust is on the flowmaster exhaust, but its getting changed here pretty soon anyways so no worries on that.

Anyways, its got the center shift, captains chairs power everything.. Its a BEAUTIFUL truck..

First mods will actually be De-modding some of what the previous owner did such as all the chrome accents. He had double billet grills installed which i really like so that will stay..

My question for you guys is what should i do first? Im thinking about a CAI but i have been told this is a bad idea withought a custom tune? Eventually i want better tires but they are BRAND new so they will stay for a while lol.

Ill have pics up tomorrow but in the meantime here is a link to the dealership:

let me know what you think!

Very nice truck. I would get rid of the chrome door handles and tailgate handle and see if you can get a matching fuel door back on it. That one on there now looks weird.

Nice Bro! Yeah, it does look like it has a leveling kit on it. If you are looking for a tuner go with a Gryphon, Bill at Power Hungry Performance is great at what he does! He will create custom tunes to fit your truck. What direction are you going with the truck? Wheels/Tires? are you going to black it out?

Yeah those wheels were on the "lower level" Fx4's and came on the stx's as well in some cases. They are 17's IIRC vs the 18's that you had. Not as common as the 18's.

Nice Truck. I too just picked up a 2005 screw FX4 that also was well maintained by the original owner. I got mine in August, had less than 30K on it. In the service manual he recorded dates and mileage for everything. Pretty much all stock for now. Planning a few things for the spring like bull bar, upgraded lighting, remote start and maybe a leveling kit. Getting lots of ideas from the forum.
