I know this sounds silly.. but where on these trucks is the plug for the engine block heater? I probably don't have one but just in case.. it's getting coooold

Do u have your window sticker from when you bought it if so it will say on there if your truck came with one and your owners manual will tell you where its at if you do have one

easiest way to tell if the truck came with a block heater option, pop the hood and see if there is a blanket around your battery. The plug in kept the coolant and battery warm, so if there is a blanket there shold be a plug hiding somewhere in the front valance

 

I'm guessing you bought your F150 used and the previous owner installed a battery blanket? Block heater equipped vehicles don't come with a battery blanket.

 

no its used from ford... just came off a lease when i got her.. but even my mustang has a battery blanket and shes brand new from the dealer

 

Must be something the dealer does because they don't come from the factory that way.

Ford dealerships may offer the blanket as an afterthought, however, blankets were NOT an OEM part from the factory.
