Massive electrical failures - need help

The truck is a 2006 F-150 Lariat supercrew 5.4L.

Here are the problems while the truck is running:

No brake lights
Engine, park brake, ABS, and battery cluster lights are on
No tach
No speedometer
No temp gauge
Left front turn signal is out
No front park lights (rear ones work)
"Engine sensor data error" and "Charge system data error" on system check
No 4x4 indicator
Instrument lights still work

OBD2 scanner cannot link to the truck, so I can't pull any codes.

All the fuses have been checked/replaced (none were blown).
The truck runs and drives fine, and 4x4 will engage. All other features appear to work, including power windows/locks/seats/roof, radio, climate, keyless, etc.

This started after I had installed all the wires for an alarm/starter combo. The brain was never plugged in. I have done many installs, and have verified all wires (no shorts etc). The battery was unplugged for three weeks, and upon return, these problems were noticed.

Any help is appreciated.

There's a short or a bad ground somewhere, things like that don't just happen, the pcm may be toasted too, I'd unplug everything you did and see if it fixes it

I'd start closest to the cluster because it sounds like a lot of the problems may string from there

You may get more responses if you try in the electrical forum.

Thanks for the responses. All the newly connected wires were never hooked up to anything, and still remain dead-ended.

Update - there is power to the brake switch, and the bulbs are good, still no brake lights (inc 3rd light).

The front left turn signal bulb is good, but no power to the bulb (left rear flashes fast, as if the front is burnt out).

All fuses are good - but there appears to be no power to the #35, #36, #42, and #7 fuses.

The blower motor does not work either.

Headlights all work, and the high beam indicator.

Could it be the PCM?

Or could it be the instrument cluster itself? Are any of these functions routed through the PCM or the cluster?

Problem solved - green connector at drivers side kick panel had come apart.
