Black out lights or no?
I just did them today. I pulled em, split em, painted em, sealed em, installed em, bragged about em.
lol. Took me about three hours. hardest part is splitting them, i heated mine in the oven four or five times. just take your time.

Eh, its really not that bad. it hurt my feelings to dig at em with a screw driver. but baking and painting are, well just like everything else. simple man. look im only seventeen. worked since i was thirteen. I just put new shocks on my truck, new tires, installation, new third brake light, wet okole seat covers. im kinda broke. actually im really broke. i guess i was kinda ****y, if i would have screwed up, SOL. Had a few ppl notice them today. i was shocked, they kinda blend in. one of those simple things to clean it up. i love it. seems to get rid of a lot of glare from the HID's too.
Oh I know about not having or not allowed to have money for my truck, I'm married and if I can spend 5-10 bucks on a mod that would cost 100-200 if I out right bought it is a huge plus. I'm probably going to go ahead and try it soon, but I'll probably do PTM, just something a little different.
okay ill pm you some instructions. im sure it will look good. all i used was:
scuff pad
can of krylon indoor outdoor paint
2 bottles of clear silicone (couldnt find black)
an oven
piece of cardboard.

i sent you a pm. i might have accidentally sent two. the first one had the wrong link. it should be pretty obvious which is which. one thing i didnt do which i wish i would have is tint my reflector. just a tip.
and about not spending money, trust me im incredibly frugal. But i realized my truck had stock shox with over 100k miles. my right rear was blown out completely. stuck some monroes in there. much better. cost 100 bucks for the two of them and got them at the local auto parts.
