No Cruise Control???

I replaced the brake booster on my 04 F150 SCab XLT 4x4 this past weekend. The booster was making a lot of noise, inside the truck, when you depressed the pedal. However, now that I have that fixed, my cruise control is not working. The brake switch on the upper pedal arm seems to be working correctly. I have to apply the brake to shift out of park and I have brake lights.

Is there anything else I could have messed up in changing out the booster? It was a straight forward repair, took about an hour, and I was in no hurry. The only thing I changed was the actuator arm's bolt length as described in the thread at the top of this forum on the new booster. That made a big difference and the brakes feel better than ever. Any insight???

Changing the length of the pushrod could be causing the switch on the pedal to disable the system. Unless you missed a connector somewhere, this is likely what's happened.

So, lengthening the pushrod on the master cylinder side of the booster could have created this problem?

It's the only thing that changed from the old booster to the new one.
