Thumbs up Brake pedal pad

Here's a good tip and saves money too! If your brake pedal pad is wore out on the right lower side (near the gas pedal) like mine was, instead of buying a new rubber replacement pad just remove it and re-install it 180* from its current position!

$5.00 you can save or spend on something else.

Just did mine this morning at 90,000 miles, good to go for another 90,000 before I have to spend that 5 bucks.

Good tip, thanks!

edit: mine's a 2002, but worked just the same!

This thread was a great find. I was just looking at my brake peddle pad this morning and thinking that, I gonna have to buy a new one one of these days.
I will happily turn mine around and have it last me another 4 years. The day I get so **** that I am worried about the vanity of my brake pad peddle is the day I give up my truck Permantly.
You just saved me 5 bucks. Thank you
