I have a 2007 Ford F150, and Iam having problems,..when I turn the truck on in the morning or when ever is sitting there for a while,..my truck tends to backfire,..the RPM's would go up and down,..and when I accelerate so that it would stop doing that, smoke comes out of my tailpipe and smells like gasoline,..but onces it warms up no misfire or smoke, could anyone help me out I am getting tired of this!! oo by the way truck has 22,000 miles its has a saleen supercharger and has some new brisk spark plugs,.also had GMS coils but changed them to stock coils since I notice with stock coils it would do this problem less. Also when driving around and I go open throttle and then let go I can here my truck like backfire and it seems I have lost alot of HP,..I would appreciate if some can help,..thanks!!

 

a wei same thing is happening to my truck in the mornings or when i turn it on...rpms go high and super low, it begins to backfire and like it wants to turn off so i have to give it gas and it backfires baddd,but once it warm its back to normal. Same thing when im driving and i go WOP and let of the gas it back fires and sound like the truck want to turn off so i have to give it a lil gas so the backfiring can stop. Dont know what it is.... HELP HERE WOULD ALSO BE APRECIATED.

 

Sounds like a stuck injector to me. But hey I could be wrong.

 

i went and checked my truck today since it started throwing smoke.... i

opened the hood and oil everywhere... it threw oil where the head sensors

are located ...my check engine light came on so they check the codes

and i had a miss fire.... i had a (1)burned egnition,(2)sensors burned and (4)

spark plugs burned and my head gasket was also messed up and for some

reason there was water in my oil and inside my heads...... so that was my problem.... mite want to check your


truck also carlos before it gets worse like my truck... it mite also just be the cold weather down here.
