Just replaced my second starter in less than 12 mos (11 mos). Replaced first one with an aftermarket from Auto Parts. Replaced this one with a factory replacement. What could be causing these things to go bad? And why are they so difficult to replace. I used to be able to do this job in 10 minutes on my 84 F150. The top bolt is impossible to get to. Had to drag it to mechanic both times.
