30,000 mile maintanence?

I just hit the 30,000 mile mark and want to make sure that i keep my baby purring for another 30,000. I think the only different thing i have to do besides regular maintanence is change the fuel filter, which i did. Is there anything else? I thought i would have to change the tranny fluid and filter but the Ford schedule says that needs to be done at 150k!! Is this correct or should i change it more often. Also, how often should an alignment be done? I think i might need one b/c im getting some wierd tire wear on a couple tires. Thanks!

When mine hit 30k a few months back i did all fluids including tranny flush. Also when you do your fuel filter it is going to be disgusting, I saw a good increase in mpg too

I don't think a tranny flush or radiator flush is needed. Just make sure the oil is good and the fuel filter is changed. You can seafoam it as well if you want to ry and break up and carbon deposits. Alignment can be done at your discretion.

Yeah i just hit 30k too

Just keep the oil up to date /full

Tranny wouldnt worry about it at 30k

Diff's wouldnt worry at 30k

Fuel filter is good to change it- every 15k. Seems steep but hey as cheap as that part is why not just change it lol.

hehe, this post reminds me I need to change my fuel filter.

My truck has 54k and on the original filter, mileage still the same as when I first bought it though

I think i'll do it in the spring, WAY to friggin cold out there now :santa:

well i know everyone says the trans will be ok but i changed mine at 30,000 and i changed the t-case fluid because thats just trans fluid also the trans was ok but the t-case was a little dirty i guess i did do it all for free cause i work at ford but it seems like cheap insurance to me. ford says the gold coolant is good till 100k and the diffs till 80k but ill probably do them early. then again that might all change if i couldnt do it all for free i guess
