Bad COP?????
Bad COP?????
So,
I got done changing my spark plugs today. I also installed an AFE CAI. During the test drive I got the bucking that seems to signal bad COP. The truck was fine before the plug change. Is it possible to use too much di-electric grease in the COP's maybe causing them to misfire? My truck didn't throw any codes or CEL according to my superchips micro tuner. From my searches this sounds like a bad COP. Is it normal for one to go bad after a plug change? I hope I didn't screw anything up.
Thanks,
Darell

Try driving it with the stock intake, before you start changing COPs. It's possible that a COP was damaging while changing plugs, but a CAI can also have cause similar issues if it changes the air flow around the MAF.
