Larger tires on stock 18" wheels?

Hi guys, I searched and looked for hours, but can't quite seem to find what I am looking for. Does anyone have any pics of their trucks at stock ride height using the stock 18's with larger tires? I am going to go with cooper due to employee discount, but am trying to figure out exactly what I want right now. Any pics or size suggestions would be most appreciated.

Hey Tim, I would like to start off by telling you that I am not a tire expert, but from what i have researched and have been told on a stock truck ON 18" wheels without a leveling kit you can go as big as 33's but it might rub. Also with a 2.5" from what I was told it can go as big as 35's. If I am wrong can somebody please try to help.

Need more info on your truck. Assuming its an 04+ since the stock rims are 18", but is it two or four wheel drive? Also what coopers were you looking to get?

Well, I WANTED the Zeon LTZ until I got a quote this morning.....$900 for a set of four AFTER the employee discount. That's on the 70 series 18" tire they make in the ltz.

Yes, it is the 04-08 body style, s-cab 4x4. Will now look into some of the other tires they make.

Ok, well as you are checking out other options as far as sizes go you can go up to a 305 or 12.50 in width on your factory rim. Optimal would be 285 or 11.50. As far as height goes the sky is the limit on the rims, but with factory ride height, a 33" is where you want to be.

I definitely don't want any rubbing! I don't understand the conversion between inches and xxx/xx/18". I'm also learning if I want a nice set of tires, it's going to cost me a grand.

I have a 2" leveling kit and 295/70/18 nitto grapplers, the tires look perfect on the truck and absolutely zero rubbing.

Tim, if you have Excel and think this will help, send me a PM with your e-mail, I'll send you a spreadsheet that will calculate all the dimensions. Screen shot below.
