HID Headlamp Help

I have an 07 King Ranch f150. JUst bought a cheap pair of bixenon hids off ebay. Has the hi/lo relay and what not. everyting is there thats needed. Ive done many hid installs but this one got me stumped. The Hids work but on with high beams. I know the lows work as well cuz the other night it glitched or something after i turned the truck off and the lows came on and then i could got hi low no problem. But havent been able to replicate. So i need a little help. Do i need to unplug the DRL relay/resistor, or what. Throw me some questions/answers and ill replay asap.

If you have Daytime running lights you defiantly need to unplug that relay for HID's. Start there and see where it leads you.

it sounds ridiculous but it happened to my buddy in his car. We swapped out the factory 15a fuse and replaced it with a 25a. They worked fine thereafter. And I see alot of people talking about daytime running lights and their HID. I never took the relay for the DRL off my truck and haven't had a problem with my HID's. I remember changing the "Exit Lighting" feature on the truck buts thats it.

Well i dont feel comfortable replacing with a higher amp fuse, you are just asking for trouble like a voltage spike that frys the wires instead of the fuse cause you got a fuse that could handle the spike not the wires though. So im gunna try unhooking the DRL relay and see if that helps. If not then im gunna open a can of whoop *** and really dig into the mother, and see if something is crossed in the hi/low relay. I try finding people that have similar issues but every thread has a different answer and everybodys issues just seem similar just with little one-off details. Im tired of high beaming the crap outta people.

Update.
Changed some wiring around. now i have low beam but no high.

Scenario:
Autolamp position with fogs pulled.
low beam hids come on but i have to put the highs on first to ignite them, they come on and i then i put it back to low beam so my fogs will come on.
Somebody said they had to turn of the some sort of lighting feature, obviously with a Scanner.

Why wont my hi beams work. Where is the resistor/relay for DRL. Dont know if that will do anything but its worth a try. Any links to possible related write ups would be appreciated.
