Newb here!

Hi!

I just picked up my used 04 4x4 f150 yesterday, and love it. There are a few bugs I need to fix - heater fan switch only works on high, door stop for the drivers door broken, etc. I will do some searching on here for fixes for them.

What I REALLY need is WHEELS/TIRES. I am in the Ohio area, so if anyone has anything decent for sale look me up.

Welcome, the heater fan is an easy fix. The resistor pack is burnt out, it only works in high because that posistion bypasses the resistor pack and sends a full 12v to the heater fan motor. A new resistor pack is about 25 bucks from ford.

Where about in Ohio are you? I'm in the Cleveland area.

Thanks for the welcomes, and thanks for the relay link....part ordered. I still need to find the tether assembly for the drivers door, as if you forget it opens to the point where the front of the door contacts the hinge....dinging it up.

As far as wheels go I'd like anything from nice stock alloy, to mildly custom. Basically, anything but black. Tires I'd like to go with bigger for the offroad look, within reason. I will be using the truck to tow an enclosed trailer so I don't want to go too wild, or have any rub issues. I thought I'd ask for the ohio area as I drive the state frequently for work and thought I could avoid shipping costs and hassles.

Pics.....eh, maybe later. It's a plain jane supercab 4x4xl in black. It has the chrome hubcaps, on little pizza cutter tires that are actually smaller than the originals. Did I mention I'd really like to buy some new wheels/tires? HELP!

Pics finally. Didn't want to take any with the nasty hubcraps and micro-tires. Got a decent deal on an OEM set semi-locally.....looks much better.
