Hey guys well i posted a thread awhile back asking how you would think it would look if i painted my full mirror covers DSG to match the truck. well i was bored today so i found the paint and did it.i think they look great. sorry for the dark pics. i ran out of time, ill get some more tomorrow in the sun to show the finish on them. definitely different than the standard painted mirrors.

 

That's how I've always thought they should be painted. Maybe it wouldn't look good on other colors but it looks good on yours. Kind of like it's "grayed" out.

 

yeah that was my thought too. it might not look good on trucks with brighter colors, but then again it might. haha never know till someone tries it.

Im stuck in between a bully bar and a n-fab pre runner bumper. I really just need the extra Lights. I like ur setup. Care to tell me how u did it? if they sell the brackets somewhere? or howd u do it

 

thanks, you have to make your own brackets for the lights behind the grille but a bunch of people have done it. heres a link to a thread that shows a bunch of different ways to mount them.
