I Want a Detroit True Trac!!!

I need answers!

I have tried the searches! Now that that's out of the way, I need to know for sure which True Trac I need. I have a 2004 F150 SuperCrew 4x2 4.6L V8 with axle code 19. I am pretty sure I have the 8.8" diff with 31 splines. If this is true, I believe I will need model# TT 913A561. Can someone please confirm or deny my thoughts? I am truly tired of getting stuck in snow and mud. I am wanting to make the purchase in the next couple days, so I need an answer fast. Thanks Ya'll!

if the diff cover has 10 bolts then yes it is a 31 spline 8.8.

Is it possible that I might have the 7.5" 28 spline diff? I don't think my diff cover looks like the 8.8" in the picture. I have one bolt in the bottom middle and not two. Any thoughts?

5.4 3v motor = 9.75 axle
4.6 2v motor = 8.8 axle

Mustang, Ranger, Exploder, Sport Trac get the 7.5" axle for the base vehicles (V-6 models only).

You have the 8.8 axle in your truck. No question about it...and if it's a 4x4, you have a reverse cut 8.8 axle up front
