New 9.75" locker from ARB... Finally!

Just announced by Petersen's 4-Wheel & Off-Road... pretty sweet and about time!

wow...sounds promising and not as much as I expected...since this is the first air locker for our rear ends...I honestly expected the price to be about double the retail of $1100....nice.

Looks pretty sweet. Can't say I would buy it though with the Detroit Locker costing half as much.

Anyone know how more much it'll cost to get a air compressor for it

Overdue and awesome is dead on...but I personally think they will never have the market needed to justify their production.

Even with the claimed 6million 9.75's on the road you don't think they will have a high enough demand? I'm thinking they will do pretty well myself.

I read an article i think in four wheeler a while back saying that 9.75 is comparable to a dana 60 so hopefully it should do well

Not really, considering the need for a selectable air locker is predominantly for off-road use. However huge the number of stock vehicles were supplied with the axle, I see no real future or demand for them in custom applications, or a real desire for it as a go-to rear axle; especially when you are considering buying such a $$$ unit, most will probably go with different rear axles to start with, or already be at the point of swapping it out.

We shall see.
