Find the leak. Look up top and see how the seal looks. Sometimes they can get distorted and bind on the moonroof when opening and closing.

I would have to say the roof was not closed all the way.

Something is wrong. There shouldn't be any leaking. Was the sunroof tipped open? If not, check the seal as suggested.

If everything checks out, you can always try putting on some seal conditioner to revive the seals if they're leaking.

Nothing is wrong. That was just high pressure spraying directly on the window. Take a pressure washer and spray it on the roof 6-7" up from the window and it will happen on almost every rig.

X2

I've noticed this in my 2004 Moonroof... a little mist will get around the seals due to the high pressure spray. Never had any leaks due to rain though.

I just keep the cloth cover closed too and then it doesn't hit you. Once you pull out and get on down the road, tip the roof open to dry it out.

When I would take my 05 through high pressure washes I would jam a MF towel up there in the back where the slide cover goes. It would come out a little damp and I would rather have that than a wet headliner.

Or you could just not spray the hell out of the sunroof with a powerwasher. I haven't ever had anything much on the roof of my truck that required me to hold a pressure washer closer than 18" for the surface. Quit parking under trees!

I'm pretty sure he was talking about an automatic car wash... otherwise he would not have been in his driver's seat in order to feel the water mist on his head...

True, I missed that part. Thought he was just saying he had water coming in after a car wash. I don't ever use automatic car washes anyway, so I can't elaborate on that. Still likely an issue of a narrow stream of water directed at the seal. Not designed for 200psi of water coming at it.
