air lift air springs any good?
It is possible that 260 is the best price that you may be able to find. A couple years ago when I was looking for them the kit was going for 230+. but like everything the prices just increase.
The bags can be inflated by using a schrader valve like on your tires or an on board air compressor with a gauge and switch mounted inside the cab for inflating and deflating the bags.
Yes the bags are very easy to deflate, all you have to do is either push in the core inside the valve or remove the core to deflate. But you will want to run atleast 5psi of air in the bags at all times, this will keep them from pinching and also reduce the likely hood of a hole.
The bags are pretty thick, I would guess around 1/8". I have had my bags fully extended a couple of times and no issues.

I went with a Superspring kit and I really like it. No adjustments needed.
Take about 10 min to install. Can remove anytime (if you like or during summer) Can still have your truck on a hoist (no negatives when rear axle really "hanging"). Easy to move to next truck when you trade. My camper has a heavy pin weight so they really helped me out. The more weight on your rear, the more they "engage".

Looking at a set of "air lift" air springs for my 2004 f150 ext cab 6.5" box. I'd like them because I frequently haul snowmobiles on a trailer or sometimes on a deck in the back of my truck. What i'm wondering is how good the air lift ones are? I know firestone makes good ones but i found a deal on the air loft ones? I knw there's prpbably threads out there on this but I need a quick answer...Thanks!!!!!!
