Fx2/Fx4 vice Stx (2008)

I wonder trying to see the body differences, is there any great body differences in the two trims? Is the stx smaller?

I am going to be buying a 2008 stx supercab 5½". And I have seen a lot of supercab fx's with 2.0-2.5in. leveling kits on here with 33 or 35's I was wondering if it would look the same, only just be an STX.

Help please!

Thanks.

If the supercab has a 5.5 bed its going to be shorter(length) then most of your supercabs on the road. Most supercabs you see have the 6.5 bed. However, the 5.5 bed looks good on supercabs, especially when leveled out.

The STX is also going to be one solid color, like the FX4. I've seen alot of stx's leveled out, some even lifted, and I couldn't tell the difference between it and a FX4. IF your stx comes with power options like mirrors, etc. no one will be able to tell the difference, unless they see the STX sticker.

Only concern I would have is putting 35's on with the smaller motor. I would want to regear if went that route. But I'll let someone else chime in that actually has a stx runnin that same setup. Do a search on stx's , I know I've seen several on this forum.
