I've seen more than a handful of 3" level kits on our trucks and, I gotta' say, I really like the front-end-a-whisker-higher-than-the-rear stance.

It really is not that obvious.... unless you look carefully.

I've herd th3 3" is a little extreme on these trucks, its hard on the ball joints and such..I went with a 2.5

agree, with my 2" lift the front end of my truck is only a 1/4" lower then the rear, a 3" would be high, and too dramatic of balljoint angles.

I think mine is 3'' because I had to ad a rear 1'' to sit even, altough I have a Tonneau so that also may have caused the rear to sit lower than the front which is why I put the rear 1'' leaf.

The Autospring 2.5" will net you 3" of lift anyways. So, I would max out at the 2.5" AS. I would not go any higher than that.

I've heard this tune whistled many times on and off these boards. However....

I have a very difficult time fathoming how one-half of an inch [2.5" level in comparison to a 3" level] can sustain such a load "... on the ball joints and such..."

I don't buy it for a second.

I've got a Hellbent Steel 2.5" kit and am running (as of yesterday!) 35" BFG AT's with no problem (took very minor trimming to get rid of all rubbing). The backspacing on your wheels matter more than anything. If you're running stock rims, you shouldn't have a problem. Mine are not stock, but 17x9 with 5.71" backspace, +18mm offset.

Hope this helps!
