Fuel gauge

So I went and filled up with gas this morning, and when i started the truck the fuel gauge went to half full. Over the course of the next 30 miles it slowly went up to the full mark... Any Ideas? This is the first time it happened. Thanks guys

Did you leave the key on when you filled up? That can make the gauge act up.

Switch the ignition on and off 10 times. Not rapidly. Turn the key to ON then wait 8 seconds and then OFF. It forces the ECU to update the values.
