Cloth Seats Staining SOOO Easy?!?!

I just bought my 06 with tan cloth seats a couple weeks ago and man it's crazy how easy they stain. I mean a drop of water leaves a dark "water ring".
Is there anything that can be done to prevent this besides from the obvious(seat covers, not letting anything wet touch the seats, etc...)?
Much Grass!

they sell cloth waterproofing spray, i dont know how well it will work on your cloth, but seems like it would be worth a shot

yeah...other than scotch guarding it (often) you are going to show spots. I found that out early and covered them with leather seat covers. Now, I never worry about it, when I finally take the covers off, the seats will look pristine. It was money well spent because I was constantly worried about staining the cloth seats.

mine looked like such crap from having the dogs in and out the whole seats started to look like a giant swirl of dark water stains so I bought seat covers. I used to steam clean my seats all the time but it not worth it, I got the wet okole neoprene seat covers and boy do they sit like a glove and are strong also. They also clean very very easy.

Yea I noticed right after I got my 06 with tan cloth seats I got in my truck with snow on my pants and stained my seats. So instead of messing with them on went the Wet Okole seat covers and no more worries.

Everyone I know has the same problem, including me. Seems the only solutions are offered above.

Yup, cloth seats suck (in terms of staying clean) in these trucks. Just be glad you haven't left the sunroof open during a rain storm!

Wet okole neoprene seat covers on my to-do list.

Seat covers or leather replacements. You will end up better in the long run.

So whats the trick to getting the existing water rings, lines and stains out? Seems a wet cloth would just leave more lines and rings?

Ya know, I've never tried to get them out... Who knows, maybe leaving the sunroof open during a rain storm uniformly stained my seats so I don't even notice they're stained!
