Spray Paint!

so yea.. I have the week off for the holidays and decided to do some much needed touch up work on the truck. Cleaned it up a little, and busted out some rustoleum for the wheel wells, rear dif, and some high themp spray for the exhaust.

Apparently one of my tips fell off a couple weeks back, it turns out it wasn't sawed off or anything, the factory weld just failed.. lol.. anywho, I crawled underneath the truck and sprayed all of the exhaust this time around and it looks pretty nice..

The flash makes everything look a little worse, so the pics aren't perfect.. whatcha think?

i was going to ask why you didn't just use undercoating, then saw you were from texas, so road salt is probably not an issue...

looks nice though, should make the truck last a while longer now without rusting

I considered undercoating, but regular old high gloss black rustoleum seems easier to handle and recoat.. don't have to really worry about spraying it on too thick or making too much of a mess.. I really just did it for the look, couldn't stand at looking at faded/dull wheels wells.. the hyperdressing only goes so far

Looks pretty good. I probably would've gone with a semi-gloss instead but I guess I'm biased because I used that.

Did you do the front end suspension and frame area? I'd also hit the trailer hitch to if I were you.

Looks really good! Kind of funny I just did this to my truck on Saturday. I like the look of yours better because it's high gloss I went with low gloss. And love your truck too.

I did my rear axle, front suspension parts, parts of frame, trailer hitch & rear wheel wheels last summer, but I used a brush to get it on thicker & neat.....I am quite satisfied because it came out great!
