Brush guard, step bars 06 2X4?

Thoughts?

was thinking of putting a brush guard and a set of step bars on my 2WD 06 XLT, because of deer and short people.

I have been told that would be stupid, what do you all think?

Edit,

I am getting a new set of tires Tuesday, do you guys think that maybe one little burn out would hurt the truck much?

I am kinda Leary of doing it, even though I have a good spot to do one in, I used to do them in my poor old 3.8L mustang all the time, one wheel burn outs FTL, I don't want to hurt the truck its only got 34,000 miles on it.

I laughed when I read this, I read over the steps part thinking you wanted a brush guard for deer and short people. Awesome!!

On a serious note, both pieces have functional use, I think you know better than anyone if you need either accessory.

Sure do the burnout
