hole in cag
i am fixing to hook up a cb in my 07 single cab f150 and was wondering if anyone knew where there where in pr existing holes in the back of the cab so i can run my co ax to my antenna any help is appreciated thanks
look at the back wall of the cab outside the truck and there should be some vents that you can run it through. thats how i did mine. i dont have a pick now but on my 98 they are rectangular. otherwise you may have to go through the hole in the firewall by the gas pedal and the under the truck
You should have the vent flaps in the back of the cab. I used them to run my B U camera wires through.
Go back up under the dash, and through the firewall below the master cylinder. and run the coax along the frame. Typically speaking you want your coax to be in 1/4 wave intervals, and a 9' is too short anyway, make sure you are using an 18' coax and make sure it is tied up securely!
take off the plastic wall on the inside of your truck to access the plastic vents.
you can see what my vents look like since i had the bed off to be replaced after my recent wreck
