Are you kidding me? 1/2 to 1 full inch is considered "very small".

Try 1/4" - 1/2 as the norm for spacers. Anything beyond that and you risk all sort of issues. Wheel spacers are not a very good alternative, regardless of the thickness, and ESPECIALLY anything over 1/2".

Stay clear of them.

Thanks for all the comments. My weim (Cooper) is 12 weeks. My wife gave him to me as a wedding gift. And I hadn't considered tinting the fogs, but I do like the look of it. I think it would blend a little better too. May have to look into that shortly. For anyone who is curious, the tires (so far) are awesome as far as a smooth ride (A+) and road noise(A-) Thanks again!
