Blower fan sqeaking

Today I noticed that when the blower fan, for the heating and cooling system, is on 1 and slightly on 2 it is squeaking. I haven't looked at it yet, but how hard is the blower motor to get to? Is there anything that I can do to solve this besides replacing the motor?

Its not too hard to get at. I would give the shAft a squirt of white lithium greasd. That worked as a long term fix at a semi dealer I was at for years. Worked on my old jetta as well.
