I had a similar problem. My battery kept going dead. At the time the truck was a year old, so I took it to the dealer and they did their test. They said everything was good. So I took it upon myself and did some tinkering. It came out to be the radio was shorted, it never turned off, so I pulled out the fuse, took it to the dealer and told them what it was, and made them feel stupid.
My battery did the same last week; try to start it in the morning after been sitting on the garage for 2 days and nothing and again this morning. My truck is 3 years old with 36789 m., just passed factory warranty I think it is time for a new battery (I don't have a short problem I hope), but I will bring it to a Dealership this week. I feel your pain.

No way, sounds like a poor excuse to me.

Are you serious???
Why don't you trade you truck in for one of those Chevy pieces of crap. then?
Yes I have driven the late model Tahoe.
I was placed on light duty at work about three months ago for a full work cycle [three weeks or 10/24HR working days; I'm a professional firefighter]. Where I'm stationed is also the first battalion headquarters. Our BC drives a2009 Tahoe. My light duties involved driving him to fire alarms/fires/extrications and whatever else he was called out for, for ten working days 24HRS per shift.
Here's my opinion of the '09 Chevy Tahoe 4WD LTZ 5.3-liter V8, after spending a few [short] days driving it.
Though it handles relatively decent for a large SUV under "normal" driving conditions, it's spongy-like suspension leaves handling in emergency sutuations much to be desired. Bumps are absorbed well but you're still bouncing several feet after the bump. Breaking is very average.... especially under emergency conditions. Sure, it's a large cumbersome vehicle, but, nonetheless, the breaking left much to be desired. Parking is awkard. I couldn't place my finger on it but trying to double-park this monster was a chore of it's own. Turning circle is poor. Fuel consumption is, well, it plain sucks.... absolutely hideous!
The standout positives for me was the interiors egonomic design [uncluttered] and comfortable/cushy seats. Acceleration was very impressive for such a large vehicle.... especially considering the amount of "equipment" a BC car hauls around [but, as mentioned above, it comes at a costly price]. Overall appearence is also very appealing.... the vehicle will fit nicely at a tailgate party, but will also fit handsomely at a black-tie function. Visibility, all things considered, to the sides and rear is pretty damn good... though a back-up OEM camera makes a world of difference I found out.
Hope this helps.
