PCM bad
I took my F150 to the dealer yesterday for a 4x4 problem. The $100 diagnostic showed my PCM had gone bad which they said was a rare problem. They said the PCM cost $903. Has anyone else had this? THANKS, MH
It is a rare problem but it happens every once in a great while. $900 sounds awful steep. Going from memory the PCM only costs Ford something like $200 or so. I'd go to another dealer if I was in your situation. Yeah, they have to program it but jeez, that's outrageous.
