A/C blows hot at idle

I have searched and find more concerning the blend door. I do not believe that is my problem. My A/C works great unless the truck is idle and then it will not blow cold. Anyone experiencing the same and if so what are some fixes?

Design of the truck. Maybe consider putting electric fans on it so it pushes air through the coils.

mine is noticeably less cool (but still cold) if I'm at a stand still or in stop and go traffic. Ice cold on the highway drives so much that it freezes my feet!!! There is a mod that someone did on here about putting a valve in one of the coolant lines....restrictring the flow of hot coolant through the core. I'd like to tackle this one day.

Interesting... Any more info?

Mine will not instantly get hot as soon as I stop but if I am sitting still long enough it will. If i start it up and do not move, it will not get cold. I work construction so there are times in the summer where I may be doing paper work or God forbid just cooling down at a job site. Its annoying! and hot!!

Does anyone offer a e fan kit that is clean and resembles a factory install?

Yea, I just got done browsing Troyers website. A bit pricey but you typically get what you pay for. I am running dual flex-a-lites on the car in my sig, nice clean install, works well and half the price.

Still think I will probably go with Troyer for the truck. Now that I browsed his site and came across the pulleys, might as well pick a set of them up also.

Anyone know if I will have to adjust my custom tunes on the Gryphon?
