Hi everyone. I know I am not the only one who doesn't like the quality and materials used on the console shifter. It seems that over time, mine has gotten worse. It feels so loose and cheap, and it also seems like the little chrome plastic top is about to come off completely. I am wondering if there are any mods, or any replacement options out there?

 

some people swap to the Lincoln mark lt shifter swap no clue how they do it though

 

never had a problem in my 06 FX4 or my 08 Expy now luckily...that Mark LT shifter does look nice.

There was a thread a few years ago about how to modify the Mark LT shifter to fit the F150. I bought one, but never put it on.
