4.6 Sparkplug question

I have been lurking around for a few weeks searching and have come up empty handed. My 2005 has the 4.6, will I have the same issue with the sparkplugs as a 5.4?

No, the 5.4 has a 2 piece spark plug and your 4.6 has a one piece. The fuel rails will not have to be removed as you can work around them. Just unbolt the COPS, use a deep socket with an extension and swivel to remove the plugs. You can also use a piece of tubing to remove the plugs from the holes if your socket doesn't have the rubber grommet inside to hold it. Do not use any anti-seize on the threads. Torque to 22lbs. Use a liberal amount of dielectric grease on the porcelain part of the plug to seal out moisture. Take yer time and enjoy the day. If this is yer first time, figure about 4 hours for the R&R and the learning curve. And do not cross thread any of the plugs or the bolts holding the COPS. The aluminum head will damage quick if you don't get it right.
