Did some body work... (dialup beware)

Did some body work to my truck today.

Some of you may not know, my wife was in a fender bender with my truck a while back, and I was letting a friend of mine do some painting for me to some of the repair parts. Well, it took forever, and he wasn't able to do all I wanted, even messed up on the upper bumper cover (clear run), so picked up the stuff and I went ahead and installed what I had, fender and bumper cover.

I also have a hail damaged hood, and a Reflexxions cowl hood as a replacement, though it is not painted, just primed. I went ahead and installed it too.

Pics...

Close up of the clear run, and his attempt at fixing it. I'll get it smooth later.

I also noticed the bumper was out of alignment a tad, I believe the mount welded to the frame horn got bent a bit so I had to do some adjusting to make it align correctly. I think it's coming along nicely.

ETA: Stupid me got some water in my headlights so that's why they are fogged.

That hood looks great on your truck. How much did that run you? I'm thinking about a cowl hood.

I have seen them for ~$400+ or so online, plus shipping. When I got this one (with shipping included) it was just under the price of a stock hood.

There's three holes there on the fender, and I like badges.

There's two door dings on the driver's door (only ones I have), but I only did one of them. Hit my Father-in-law's boat trailer tongue. I need to get them PDR'd.

Yeah the Saleen hoods are very nice. They were too high back then or it would have been an option. :o

I was gonna say time for some tire shine, but I scrolled down another two pics and saw you washed it. Nice.

That hood looks incredible--can't wait to see it painted. Really makes me want to change out my stocker.
