If the weather here ever clears up and I get a chance, I am going to try pulling it out and see what can be done to fix it.

From looking at Gibs04's images... Adhesive all under and on the separated foam, and masking tape to hold in place during the full cure time while the adhesive cures. That's all I've got, other than buy another seat.

Mine has the same issue but I have a strange stain in the rubber? Looks like the dealer applied some kind of spray while detailing it and it ran and then turned whitish on one corner. Was wonder if I could wrap it in leather? Looks like I would have to rip it off, replace or rebuild the foam under structure then wrap the piece. Any ideas or thoughts?

Talking Center Console Cup Holder padded surround

Wow, this thread happened a while ago and went nowhere.

My 2005 crewcab F150 does this same thing. Pulls back from the foam rubber and super glue helps very briefly. It needs to be replaced with a new part or have a way to solidify the connections all the way around the lip that goes under the pad to the hard plastic.

I have had no luck. I wish I had an exploded view of the console to know what part number that may be. I bet it prys right off, but needs some one way fasteners to get it back together as there is no screws below it or a way to get to screws below it.

Surprised nothing ever came of this, seems like a common problem.

Check for leather seat install post someone on here had a detailed step by step post on how to remove that part of the console. If I can find it I'll post the link.
